ABOUT OUR LIBRARY

Our library is bustling with activity as staff and students utilize the resources and facility all day long. Mrs. Young and Mrs. Parsons offer friendly help to all visitors needing reading material or those students who need to work on school projects. The library keeps a "Sign In" book for all students with study blocks who wish to spend a quiet hour in the library. We even have a "bookings binder" for those staff and student groups who wish to reserve the one of the two seminar rooms for group discussions, viewing of videos or DVDs, or for meetings!

The library collection of novels is continually updated through book buying visits and through requests from students. Come visit the library to view our New Books Display

By November each year Mrs. Young has had the pleasure of giving every grade eight student a library orientation through their Science program and a book talk through their English program. Every grade eight student should now know how to find a "good novel" for the pleasure of reading as well as to search for information efficiently in our library!
