Parent Advisory Councils are a key component to your child's education. PAC meetings are well attended by MRSS Administration and teachers. They offer informative speakers, presentations and information that apply to all students and parents. PAC is also responsible for administering PAC Funds, Scholarships & Bursaries
.
Parents are welcome and encouraged to come to the monthly meetings.

PAC meetings are generally held on the 2nd Monday of each month with the exception of June (check the calendar in your student’s planner to be sure).

Meetings are held in the school library at 7:00 p.m.

SPC (School Planning Committee)

This important but separate committee is affiliated with the PAC, they are made up of:

• the school principal
• one teacher (represents the teaching staff)
• three representatives from the school PAC
• one student (from Grade 10, 11 or 12) appointed by the school principal

They meet quarterly to discuss and review School Planning issues.
